The Beacon Church is a “Cell Church”, built upon a collection of small groups which meet every week to share in the journey of following Jesus. Each Beacon Group (or Cell Group) expresses all that it means to be “church”, praying, worshipping and learning about God together.
The Beacon is launching a Celebration Service at the new school on The Bridge Development from January 2010. This will be a time for all the small groups to come together to worship; sharing drinks and food, singing, praying and hearing stories about how God is at work in peoples’ lives as they journey with Jesus. It will be accessible to all ages and an inspiring and meaningful time with God and each other.
Our vision is to be contemporary church that is founded on small groups and is active in our local community demonstrating the Jesus Kingdom.
